Physical Education has developed as a science that studies human movement and behavior as a psychomotor system that has a great impact on education, sport and the rehabilitation of movement functions. This discipline is known by many names in other countries, including the Sport Sciences, Human Movement Studies and Kinesiology.
The Academic College at Wingate is an accredited institution of higher education that offers students combined academic and professional training for employment in the fields of movement, training, rehabilitation and sports, and for teaching Physical Education.
The Academic College at Wingate offers a graduate program which provides student with a Master’s in Physical Education (MPE) degree and is in the process of opening the Master’s in Healthy and Active Lifestyle (MED) degree in future.
